We just signed a new deal with Mascot / Megaforce! The official press release is below.
Birmingham Alabama rock band LYNAM has signed a new deal with Mascot / Megaforce Records. The bands latest effort "Tragic City Symphony" will be re-released worldwide in August and will feature the additional track "Get Me Off". The bands last single “Save My Soul”, was self released and made it to #5 on the active rock independent chart. The bands next single "Lindsay Says" will be impacting radio on August 18th.
The follow-up to 2006's "Slave To The Machine", "Tragic City Symphony" was produced by Jason Elgin (MAYLENE AND THE SONS OF DISASTER, COLLECTIVE SOUL) and Jacob Lynam. The band says, "Elgin brings out the best in us and on this new record he has pushed us to new levels. The songs are straight-ahead, melt-your-face rock songs in true LYNAM style. We have some really cool special guests on the new record, including the band HINDER and Tom Keifer of CINDERELLA."
Along with Jason Elgin, the band also enlisted Mike Shipley (GREEN DAY, MAROON 5) and Beau Hill (RATT, STEVIE NICKS) on mixing.

The band is managed by Union Entertainment Group (NICKELBACK, HINDER, RED).

OPERATION ROCK TOUR!

The Operation Rock Tour is off and kicking! So far the shows have been going great. We've met a lot of new friends on this tour including the other bands (Joan Red and Ashes Of Soma). Unfortunately 4 shows into the tour, the lead singer of Ashes Of Soma broke his ankle jumping off the stage (thanks to encouragement from David:). We received word that he is doing great and will be finishing out the tour. We'll be in Michigan at the end of the week and are looking forward to seeing all of our friends from the surrounding areas.
We're trying to decide on our next single. "Save My Soul" did amazing reaching #5 on the Active Rock Independent chart. We would love to hear from you what your favorite song on "Tragic City Symphony" is. Send us a message on Myspace with "Favorite Song" in the subject line.

CINDERELLA TOUR CANCELLED!

It's with unbelievably deep regret that we must announce that Cinderella's Tom Keifer's left vocal cord has hemorrhaged, thereby making it impossible for him to sing in the immediate future.
Tom felt his throat give way last night (6/11) finishing the set in pre-production rehearsals, went to his vocal doctor (Dr. Stephen Mitchell) in Nashville this morning, and was told the grim news. In the short term, Tom's was told it would be two to three weeks before the swelling and damage would recede to a point to where an assessment can be made as to whether surgery will be required.
Consequently, and again, most regretfully, we have no choice but to postpone the upcoming Cinderella tour until such time as Tom is ready tour again.

LYNAM will be hitting the road this Summer with CINDERELLA, a re-united WARRANT (featuring singer Jani Lane) and LYNCH MOB. LYNAM will be touring in support of their new album “Tragic City Symphony”, due out this Summer.
"Tragic City Symphony" is set as the title of the new LYNAM album. “We’ve been working again with producer Jason Elgin (MAYLENE AND THE SONS OF DISASTER, COLLECTIVE SOUL), who we consider the fourth member of LYNAM," guitarist/vocalist Jacob Lynam says.
